Hi. Thanks for being here.

Here's a bit about me:

I graduated from the Jerwood/Arvon Playwriting Mentorship programme in 2020.

My most recent play 'Compositor E' was longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize 2022, and was published by Methuen Drama in September 2023 alongside its Offie-nominated production at Omnibus Theatre.

Last year, I wrote the play 'iTalk' for Platypus Theater, which was nominated for the Ikarus Prize for theatre for young people. I also wrote the text for 'A Map's Tale', a Monstress Mess production which premiered at Theater Unterm Dach in February 2023.

To go back a bit, my first ensemble play, MACBLAIR played at the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes to critical success, and was one of The Scotsman’s Top 6 hot picks for political shows 2017. It then toured the UK and had a London run at the King's Head Theatre.

In 2019, its sequel, BORIS REX was nominated for an Off-Westend Award during its run at the Tristan Bates Theatre, London.

As a spoken word artist, I performed at festivals such as Latitude, In The Woods, Secret Garden Party, Soundwave and Troyfest, was a four-time Hammer and Tongue National Slam Finalist and BBC Slam Finalist.

My first solo show, THE STORIES OF SHAKEY P re-imagined the Bard as a playground battle rapper, and premiered at the Edinburgh Festival in 2012, before showings at the Arcola, the Roundhouse, Trafalgar Studios and the RSC.

In 2014, my second solo show, PHILOSORAPPERS, re-told the entire history of Philosophy via a kinetic mish-mash of rap, comedy and solo performance, and in 2016 I won the Rising Star award at the Let's All Be Free Film Festival for my Arts Council-funded short film, FAUSTUS: REMIXED.
